Beheard is intended for adults and is not designed for children under 18.
1. Scope
This policy defines beheard's standards against child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including child sexual abuse material (CSAM), grooming, sexual extortion, trafficking, and any behavior that sexualizes or harms minors.
2. Zero Tolerance
Beheard has zero tolerance for CSAE and CSAM. Any account that uploads, requests, promotes, distributes, or attempts to engage in CSAE behavior is subject to immediate enforcement actions, including permanent suspension.
3. How to Report in Beheard
Users can report safety issues in two ways:
- Use in-app reporting tools after calls or interactions
- Email our safety team directly at support@beheard.co.nz
Please include as much detail as possible (user handle, time, and description) so we can investigate quickly.
4. Enforcement Actions
When we detect or receive credible reports, we may:
- Remove violating content
- Temporarily restrict or permanently terminate accounts
- Preserve relevant records for legal requests
- Escalate high-risk cases for urgent review
5. Legal Cooperation
Beheard cooperates with lawful requests from relevant authorities and may report confirmed CSAM/CSAE incidents to appropriate law-enforcement and child-protection organizations, as required by applicable law.
6. Age Restriction
Beheard is for users aged 18 and older. Accounts found to be operated by underage users may be removed.
